Built as C/n 161-313, this aircraft was assigned to 334th FIS, 4th FIG.
Credited with shooting down two MiG-15s over Korea, when used by Capt James Jabara on 20 May 1951, the aircraft was lost in combat 10 km SW of Pukch'ong, North Korea on 6 October 1951. Ditched off shore, and pilot rescued by helicopter. Correlates with claim by Col Yevgeniy Pepelyayev of 196 Fighter Regiment, but USAF has it being downed by AAA. Airframe recovered and sent to Moscow for evaluation.
