Built as c/n R.1059, 73-0878 was passed to South Vietnam, and probably served with the 536th Fighter Squadron / 63rd Tactical Wing based at Bien Hoa Air Base, where it was captured by North Vietnam in April 1975. In 1981 the aircraft was transfered to Eastern-bloc nations for evaluation.[2] In 2010, the aircraft was at Czech Aviation Museum at Kbely, outside Prague, and is now at the Historical Institute of the Army of the Czech Republic.[3]
