History[]

Built in 1979, A-528 served with the Argentine Air Force 3rd & 9th Air Brigades.

Following a nose wheel leg collapse during the Falklands War, it acted as a decoy at Port Stanley until capture.[2] Displayed in an incomplete state alongside A-515, at RAF Cosford between Oct 1982 and May 1985, it's disposal by the RAFM led to A-528 being transferred to the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum, Flixton,[3] where it subsequently received maintenance serial 8769M.[2]
