History[edit | edit source]

On 15 June 1940, while strafing the French airfield at Cuers, Tenente Zuffi of 150 Gruppo was forced to land MM.5590 due to engine trouble and was captured. It was kept at Cuers-Pierrefeu NAS and repainted in a light colour, probably Gris-Bleu Clair (light grey-blue). After the defeat, the aircraft was returned to the Regia Aeronautica at the end of July 1940.[1]
