History[edit | edit source]

Built by Ago, Oschersleben[2] during August 1943,[3] 550214 was operated by III./NJG11 as PN+LU,[4] while equipped with a FuG 217 Neptun radar system. Re-coded Air Min 10 after it's capture, this aircraft was initially displayed in the UK, before being shipped from Birkenhead, England to Capetown, South Africa on the SS Perthshire on 20 Oct 1946, arriving on 6 Nov. It is now on display at the South African National Museum of Military History, Saxonwold, Johannesburg, South Africa.[1]
